I think the reason why he would go through such lengths is because he had this feeling that the Seme will most likely keep contacting him for service and remember the guts he had on their 1st time? He was about to get killed but was safe because of the call (as we might have noticed, uke already caught his interest) and if he doesn't reply to his message requests, seme will either use the advantage of his lies being blind and kidnap him and kill him then and there.
