Ue and mafuyu are just starting to build their relationship, ofcourse for others, yuki and mafuyu will still remain. The perfect picture of a loving relationship. They would need time to move on from yuki and mafu's relationship and get used to mafu's rltnship with ue.
But mafuyu already moved on and he really loves ue. It's just, right now he's scared ue's drifting and history might repeat with ue
Uenoyama will always be second rate in everyone's eyes lmao. Even the author makes it seem so in the way they describe Yuki/Mafyuy/Ue through the other characters. Very sad for him no matter what he does he won't live up to Yuki.
