When I read smut, I picture sensual or heated scenes... When I read goblins doing their thing... that isn't quite the case.
and we saw them on screen like what, once? while censored? im sorry, but that doesnt qualify as smut
from urban dictionary smut is "erotic writing that contains explicit, sexual content"
and if you've ever read one, they are usually explicit and contain at least one multiple page sex scene per 2-3 chapters
more likely its a mistake and should be removed
