he didnt necessarily work for the opposite firm he could just have been a spy for hire and lbr no one's gonna reveal having a spy they would just deny to no end (isnt that common practice in law firms anyways?) also saena was so done with the whole situation i dont think she had the nerve to chase him to the end of the world on top of losing her job, being pregnant and having ruined another person's career
