and again, I am warning you, and the other.. don't ever try to comparing love love love love Yaoi on manga with your real life. That's dangerous..
but, don't lose hope, (⌒▽⌒)
I can't think about anything regardless your student, but 1 thing you must do is: ask him directly, why? because people are different, the way they do and the way the living their life. that's way we need "communication".
I'm also a student and I also have the habit of smiling at most of my teachers.....well I did have when I was in high school- when the no. Of students per class was less. But I never asked a teacher about his/her personal affairs. Maybe our class did ask one or two question--but as a whole and only to teachers we were too frank with.
That you are a tutor and that your students admire you is a great think in itself.
So what do I think of your student...well I'm not utterly familiar with the psychology of a boy's brain but I've arrived at the following conclusions:
1) what your student feels is admiration and it's quite natural to be interested in what someone you admire.
2) he wants to get along with you as friends (age gap is not very important these days)
3)......dun dun dun....fujoshi mind speaking...dun dun dun....he has something for you....
Also I guess choice 1 is the most probable one.
It also depends on what sorts of questions he asked you....and if they were too personal then I guess you are mature enough to understand what he was hinting at.
But let me be clear- I'm talking from the perspective of a student studying in the sort of teaching environment where we are too hard on student teacher respect stuff...I mean like I hardly ever talk to my teachers.
There are different social interaction levels in different societies. If you live in a place where student-teacher conversation is free and not much respect oriented....then it's up to you what you make out if this situation.
Best of luck with your dilemma.
Just my two cents....and don't take my words for too real...I'm not a psychologist.
Um...I think you've been reading too much yaoi and letting it take over your life. Yaoi is fantasy, and real life is painfully real and in your face. Most likely, your student is just trying to be friendly and engage you in idle chit-chat. But, I have no idea what constitutes as ''personal matters'' to you. If your student asked you about your hobbies, what books you like to read, that's not unusual. Neither is the smilling. If they asked if you are dating anyone, that raises a few red flags. But your post is very vague on the specifics, so idk what to tell you.
Dude, I don't know how old you are, but since you're a tutor and you have students, obviously you're not a horny and delusional teenager. Don't you think this whole thing is a bit pathetic and immature on your part? I get that you read yaoi, but do you think life is a series of yaoi plots? And that you'll star in your very own yaoi? Seriously, why don't you go out, get yourself a girlfriend/boyfriend, whatever rocks your boat and live REAL life, not a fantasy. As for what do I think about your student, no, I don't think he wants to have sex with you.
hahaha.... i love your response.
how cute. fujoshi mind. lol
anw,,i also choose no 1.
i guess you are a smart student.
but since i'm just tutor home,,so i want to be friendly to my students. lol.
and as i said it's just reminds me abt yaoi. but not in the bad thing.
i ask this question bcs i just want to knw abt the response,,you guys are so nice. THANK U SO MUCH.
i am a tutor. i've been a tutor since 2 months ago.
Everything went smoothly and my students understand the lessons I teach.
but lately,, one of them always look and smile at me.
yesterday, he came to me and asked about personal matters.
since i'm Yaoi lover,,it reminds me of Yaoi story about private teacher who was loved by his students.
What do u think about my student???
