Ikr I read your comment and your right if you were the one in his situation do you want someone to say that get yourself back together and pay attention to your child.. no of course sometimes we need time to heal sometimes we can be selfish and think about ourselves first...
And the thing that breaks my heart even more is that I'm 100% sure Hyesung blames himself hor nit having the capacity to take care of Byul pr himself at this time. He's the victim and everyone is still blaming him

I think Hyesung is one of the most realistic characters in this story. His reactions and decisions are actually what a person in real life would do. Thibk about it, from yhe start Hyesung has been fighting for himself he never haf anyone in his corner. Then all of a sudden he gets pregnant. Of course he'll get scared! Of coyrse he'll want to run away from his problems. We do that everyday. We run away from our problems and hope that we won't have to face it. Dojin practically forces him to keep the baby with the promise of money. He signs a contract (in bad faith coz he has every intention of breaking it) to give birth to the baby in exchange for money. Which at this point made him sort of like a surrogate. But people had the gall to get mad at him for this, calling him selfish and whatnot that might be true but guess what? Everyone in this story is selfish. But people just choose to hate on Hyesung because the idea that a mother should always love their children is deeply ingrained in our minds. I don't know which world you are living coz that is clearly not the case in our world.
Now people are hating him fpr bejng depressed. Like what? Have you ever been depressed? And I mean really depressed. To the point that you can't move, can't eat or can't even cry. To the point where you see no way out. To the point where you know for a fact that you are barely keeping yourself together and is just one step from throwing your self off the roof. Have you ever been abused and abandoned then having to force yourself to bottle up that emotion and tuck it in the deepest part of your mind because you don't have the time to feel sorry for yourself because you have to keep going on in order tp survive. Then having to have to face all of that all of a sudden without any preparations.
Hyesung is human before he is a parent. He had emotions. He gets hurt. He gets sad. In this case he is so effing depressed and in a state of confusion and what he needs is therapy and support.
All of you who are saying that he needs to get his shit together and pay attention to Byul must have never actually been in a bad situation. You musy have never been in a situation anywhere close to what Hyesung is faving right now.
And that's not a bad thing. You guys are lucky that you never went through any of those. Or even if you did, that you had the strength and support to get through that. But not everyone has the same situation so instead of hating him just be a litle sympathetic.
