I think they are talking about Jeremy. He is angry at his "bride" who told our FL that she was unwanted at the wedding. Thus leading to her demise.

I read on a spoiler that previous life Jeremy fell in love with Shuli. But the current Jeremy will not.

Eh but how can Jeremy fell in love in Shuli in her previous life? They're not close, are they?

Unlike the current life, previous life Neuschwanstein children were only able to know Shuli's sacrifices a little too late in which it was hard for the children to say sorry and Shuli has shunned herself from the children as seen in the few chapters.

This is just my theory: They were never close as a family and they never see Shuli has a mother figure, so maybe when Jeremy knows about the real Shuli he fell in love to her as a woman. But the recent Jeremy in where Shuli has really shown that she is a mother to them, still loves her but now as a family.
