I’m so peeved

I started off really terrified because this concept is so interesting and the entire situation was so tense, but now I gave myself piece of mind by no longer caring about what happens to the MC because of how ABSOLUTELY IDIOTIC HE IS!!!! Dude acknowledged that if he was found out, or if he stayed in his apartment, he was most definitely going to be killed. He entered the home of a murderer, and had sex next to a DEAD BODY. Rather than attempting to pretend to be an actually good blind person, he made not a single comment about the disgusting smell a dead body would have, not to the murderer, or his friends, or THE POLICE. His thought process was “oh nooo, if I tell the police that I entered the home of a goddamn murderer and was an inch away from an absolutely mutilated corpse, and barely escaped with my life, they’ll know that I was pretending to be bliiiiiind!!! So I’ll go BACK into the house of the murderer, without informing ANYONE of the situation, including my friend who KNOWS THAT I PRETEND TO BE BLIND, all so I can gather “evidence”??? While also pretending to be blind???? And while having sex with the murderer???? Not to mention providing money for a trip to someone that didn’t even give a shit that you passed out and is very obviously only interested in your money/sex.... but that’s not even the main source of idiocy at this moment. Who gives a goddamn fuck if you were pretending to be blind just to hustle people. People died, your life was in danger, and you made the conscious decision to put yourself back into that danger for the sake of hiding the fact you aren’t blind, rather than just telling the truth, or SAYING THAT YOU COULD SMELL THE BODY!!! It doesn’t matter how fresh the body was, that shit is blood and death, and you should’ve been able to smell it the second you walked through the door, especially since it was in the middle of the room. Oh yeah, and you were fucking directly next to it. Sometimes characters are so goddamn stupid that you can assume that anything bad that happens to them is ultimately their fault so it takes all of the tension out of the situation, because they could’ve done so many things to just not be in that situation. I’m so peeved.
