Good, but unrealistic

I liked it, but the raped guy was "cured" so fast! Sounded unrealistic. I think real people take more time to feel ok with a sexual relationship. Not because they aren't truly in love, but they just can't do that type of stuff now.

Not everyone reacts to being raped the same way. Some people actually become promiscuous afterwards, usually to minimize what was done to them or feel like they are in control of their bodies. It's not unrealistic for him to be ok with it after meeting the right person.

I appreciate that it was brought up at all. Many yaoi mangas include rape but don't touch on the effects, physical or mental.

But he said that he is grateful that his boyfriend is going so easy on him, holding his hand only and such. Btw, im sorry but I can't remember names... :/

they said a few weeks and that sounds like 5+ to me, so it isn't that fast.

It's a short manga, it needed to be resolved in a short time. And in the manga world who knows it could have been longer than specified..

Yep - I've had friends/family treat their rapes in different ways. The one person went on to experiment pretty hardcore with stuff while others got over it eventually and yet one other went completely celibate. It's a personality thing rather than the trauma or extent of damage, etc.
