It's hard to pick up the manga after the anime, because Season 1 diverged from the material, Season 2 is not in the manga at all, and Season 3 Book of Circus (and every adaptation after that) acts like a midquel, because it's in the manga, but happens after the curry contest. Plus, there's a lot of extra material that was added, like Pluto and the angels, and more that was cut for the sake of time.
I would read/skim it from the beginning, so you have a better understanding of what's happened and what hasn't.
The anime is a mess. Better start from the begging. The story updates every month so you don't have to rush. It is totally worth reading it all
