this whole time eren has been trying to get mikasa to hate him cause he knew he was gonna d word and if mikasa had said it eren would have dropped everything for her and let her be happy with him cause of the few years he had left.

i honestly, passionately, do not think there's any romance in their relationship. and i'm an eremika shipper. of course mikasa clearly has "those" type of feelings for eren, but eren on the other hand seems to have a more platonic emotion towards here. NOT ENOUGH FOR ROMANCE but definitely enough to put his life on the line. and that's a way more beautiful form of love in my opinion
that's not it. the reason why eren asked mikasa about her feelings is so he can clarify whether his memories are right. we all know eren knows what happens in the future but he has his doubts. he already knew mikasa was going to say "family" but he had a small hope that she'd say something different, which could mean the future could be changed. but because mikasa's answer was the same he came to the conclusion that he couldn't do anything to stop the future and so he continued with the rumbling
What did they mean Eren x Mikasa is canon? I mean in the first place eren rejected mikasa and thought of her only as a family, like a mother figure and did he confessed? or I'm missing somethin? and that little memory recollection of mikasa is nothing but her delusion something wouldn't happen between them in rl. I'm not reallt against shipping them but I'm a lil confused where or when did they finally become a canon even though I couldn't see any romantic thingy between them (⊙…⊙ )
anf I saw some sort of pattern in 2 latest chapters 137 Armin's POV and 138 Mikasa's POV, its possible that author will end the chapter in Eren's POV.
