that blue-eyed coworker actually has a bf already. but i get what you mean. yoon seoul approached kang joon for selfish reasons and he's really two-faced. the chances of kang joon getting together with another person is rlly low since this is a romance between yoon seoul and kang joon anyways but i hope he matures more and apologizes b4 actually entering a rs with kang joon

Ikr, I feel like the mc is a douche for being all "friendly" to kang joon, I mean its good to be friendly but his reasons are very selfish. He's narcissistic and fake , he approached kang joon just so he can feel good about himself. I want the mc to have a character development because I don't want kang joon to feel hurt in a toxic relationship... And I don't want to be depressed :((. Like you said, the mc needs to realize that... like he lost to a future rival? And then he realizes what it feels to be broken hearted(or something)
For some reason while reading the chapters I feel like the mc doesn't trust anybody that easily(?) like he puts on a fake person/image to satisfy other people, and because that it fuels his ego and became a narcissist. I might be wrong but hey that's what I see ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I totally agree with what you said in the first para. He seems to have unchecked confidence levels and acts extremely fake around people for little to no reason.
for the second para, you could be on to something. i def get the feeling that he's just trying to please others at times, and he justifies that by putting on this superior image of himself in comparison to others. but right now, since there's nothing that explicitly hints at that, he still feels like a complete, unnecessary douche. he hasn't changed at all since high school which i find to be a big red flag in relation to his emotional intelligence and maturity levels. he's seriously still thinking like a teen, and kang joon doesn't deserve to deal with someone so immature and manipulative. ugh i'm getting heated again.
It's okay... We'll definitely get a character development!( • ω• ) but if we won't... I hope kang joon will realize that he's being played and just cut ties ＜（－︿－）＞ Aaaaaghh if we don't get any justification for his actions and continues to be a douche and breaks kang joon's heart...then I want to see the mc's downfall and getting what he deserves (｡’▽’｡)
you know, i feel like an interesting plot for this bl would be if yoon seoul actually lost kang joon to someone else (like his blue-eyed coworker friend we saw recently join him in the store). then he could use that experience to understand where he needs to grow as a person (no lying, no two-sidedness, etc) and could have healthy relationships later on. it would open his eyes to the hurtfulness of his tactics, and show him that he can't manipulate people into liking him.
i just feel like right now he has too many big flaws which can't be fixed by another person, especially by the person he hurt in the past. it feels wrong to expect kang joon to eventually love him when he had to suffer so much from him (both in the past and present) for no reason. i just feel like kang joon deserves better, or i at least wish yoon seul had become a better person by the time they reunited. it seems like yoon seul hasn't changed at all since high school, and thats just sad. kang joon shouldn't have to put up with any more of his cruelty.
