I feel like the mother is not bad compare to the father. She was abused and at some ppoint was given to the Alpha clients when they are in a relationship. Thats awful bastard for me. Leaving the father is I think the only option she has and she maybe left Hyesung behind because the father is financially capable of taking care of Hyesung idk. I almost symphatize the father last chapter but then I remember this. So nope he is absolutely not good. Im only basing it to what Hyesung said so I hope the mother has no ulterior motives.
