Omg I thought I was the only one who thought this!! This is the EXACT reason why i hadnt read Emd of the Road yet. So many people have recommened it to me, but I just couldnt read it for all these reasons. I felt so weird
i feel really bad for the original guy because he was driven to the point of committing suicide and nobody ever stood up for him when he was raped. like when the love interest was like oh yeah i didnt care when it was that other guy but when i thought of it being you i wanted to kill all of them like :/ he deserved so much more than he was given and nobody ever talks about him like :(
tbh I'm with you because I have been recommended it so many times but the idea of him dating somebody who looks physically different but with the same mind just is not the connection I want to read I mean like he has to fall in love with someone else's smile, someone else's eyes.. :((
It didn’t sit right with me either but how the other guy shows him how much he loves him not matter which body he’s in makes it rlly sweet! I promise that you won’t regret reading it. Oh and the guy doesn’t care who’s body the mc is in as long as it’s the mc he loves(≧∀≦)
I'm planning to read "at the end of the road" but i feel conflicted at the main idea, like the mc died of a car accident and is transferred into another persons body which is a person the ml knows. I know its supposed to deliver a message like "Love a person for who they are inside" but I feel so pained for the mc, imagine kissing or doing anything affectionate with your lover and then realizing that you're doing that in another persons body and will never have the chance to do that with him in your actual body.
(idk if that made sense) Maybe I'm overthinking or something.
Does anyone else have a different view on this?
