It was in a mostly realistic setting, and nobody but him could see his tail. I believe the guy I described was the uke, and I'm pretty sure he hadn't acknowledged himself as gay before the story started. I believe the first chapter was him waking up to find he had a tail and nobody else could see it, then going outside and freaking out because his tail started going into the pants of other men around him and arousing them but he couldn't react to it because no one else could see it so he would look crazy/pervy.

I did read it a while ago so I'm not sure that these details were accurate. I don't remember what the MC looked like apart from that they were fairly young looking.
