Such a heartache
For me his revenge is worthy, that's not just too much effort but to show how ML is delusional and hurt MC in so many ways. MC said it multiple times that the feeling between them is not mutual and not love but ML's obsession of keeping MC all to himself by any means, betrayal, rape even twice, that's for sure not love but pure obsession. And it is sad that MC is also finding ML as convenient to share his life further.
Actually.. Revenge always requires a lot of effort.. That is why.. It is not for a lazy person like me.. Yet at the same time i always enjoy, amaze at how people who do revenge or how their revenge work..the effort of just imagining how to do it is already a lot of work to me.. But its fascinating to see how one mind works..
I agree that revenge takes a lot of effort sometimes, and is amusing to observe from the sidelines, but I find it questionable how cost-effective they are and how much satisfaction can be gained if they are executed successfully
his revenge may be for a "good cause", but he definitely lost a part of him in the process. And all he gained was an instant satisfaction that he made that other guy suffer, but now he will be constantly thinking about him and probably regretting what he's done to himself. So a moment of happiness at someone else's expense for a lot of misery, a worthy trade? Maybe for mL, but I doubt it is worth it for MC.
i'm not saying he shouldn't have his revenge, I'm just saying his method is too costly and there are many other ways that are better. But he is probably too angry to think straight.
