yep, I knew it that Zero not died as peacefully as he can. but WHY MATSURI HINO ALWAYS GIVE KANAME AND YUUKI FORGIVENESS FOR ALL THEIR WRONGDOING WHEN ZERO CANNOT EVEN EXCUSE HIS INNOCENCE IS REALLY GRATING MY NERVE. all the time Zero's married life with Yuuki, with his wife can't even forget or let go her love to another man, that's actually as same as being betrayed all along, even more bad that he's knowing of it. people who carry all burden alone are selfish ones. yep, Kaname and Zero are selfish, for they didn't want the people they cared about getting hurt, which will give them guilt for their helpnessess as they can't prevent it (though it's not their fault and it's inescapable). at least Kaname have power and he's the highest pureblood, but he didn't want to looks bad to Yuuki or what I don't know, but he used other people for his own advantage to their misery (that was Zero, and then Aidou and others). Kaname times to times quite have a low self-esteem thats makes him lonely. I think he use his long life just to wallow in self pity than REALLY trying to protect Yuuki as "Kaname". it's like the fact that he's pureblood he sees as more problem than advantage (which is true in some side) but he didn't see that advantage as positive side. if only he's trying to talk with hunter, same as Yuuki's parents, he can lesser his sins a loooooootttt more. the way he decide to throw his life (only to put in sleep) just a running away of his guilt in roundabout way *sorry for pun*. he needs to learn that "great power came with great responsibelity". really, he's over 10,000 years but just like a kid. well, Zero too, he's so selfless actually, and that's not only self-destruct, but people who cared about him are sad too. ignore Yuuki, his hunter acquaintance whose respect and care of him aren't that happy with how he treat himself that lowly. he's at least know that "life come with suffering" but he REALLY needs to loose up. people deserve happiness, and it's not a sin. Zero is absolutely kind, but the one he can't give kindness and forgiveness is himself instead. that was wrong, morally wrong, realiticaly wrong. I can say that he's a real fighter, since he didn't escape his messed up life with suicide. but he need to try accept himself. someone who reject himself is as same as reject everyone's affection toward him, though he knew how painful rejection is. lastly, Yuuki is A STUPID BITCH. no offense to Yuuki's fans, but I AM growing as witness of a cruel love. she choose one man but can't let go one half of her heart. and then she come back parade herself in front of that very man who lost everything for herself. I think how Yuuki's perspective of love is if she can avoid hurt then she do it. yes, she's crying and wailing for both of them, and they say "thanks for crying for me" bullshit. trying to "not crying" is harder than we though. everytime trying hard not to crying, heart become numb little by little. when used to it to the point can't crying because we felt so numb that it was painer than before, we can't even crying when alone (I guarantee it, I knew it firsthand). Yuuki needs to reject all attempt of affection act from her rejected one until she knew for sure that he's move on from her. I know Yuuki know kindness, but how she act is not all of that is kind. majority of true kindness is not that soft, warm, or white action. she need to know the "meaning" of it so she can really be kind. how Yuuki handle things is more do harm than good, and majority is quite spontanious and not planned far enough (frankly, half-assed, pardon me). actually the way Kaname and Yuuki acts is so similiar just showing how they're really a blood-relatives. they're usually kind, but the core of it is not that pure and white.
PS: well, whoever read this, I'm sorry if this post offend you. but I'm not did it on that purpose, just want to vent my frustation of this manga. yes I'm a fan of Vampire Knight, yes I'm a big fan of KanameZero (now I don't even care of YuMe or ZeKi anymore), yes I'm on Zerorin's side, but that didn't hinder me to comment on Zero's behaviour. who say a fan have to always gushing their favorite and can't complain about it, right? and this is just my perspective from realistic view, as I'm not that dissilutioned with the concept of love. I'm believe of love can bring happiness, but if we take wrong path, it'll bring more harm than good (like these three charas) and better to avoid it.
