Yup you're definitely right. She's not that bloodthirsty, but she's not a saint either to forgive Rose. Ripley's course of action against Rose is something that is consistent with her personality.

As much as we all want rose dead, I’m pretty sure Ripley won’t kill her. She’s not the type of person that would want someone to die, even if that person tried to kill her. She’s probably gonna have rose invest hella money in her company and/or have her exiled.
