i mean he is a demon and is the deuteragonist of the story so we definitely need him one way or another, though killing him off was kinda unnecessary.

happy 100th chapter!! gonna explain (or give u guys a recap)
basically guren, mistuba and shinoa are making a circle/spell which would (assumingly) bring mika to the world where they would have to try and get him in a sword. meanwhile with mika; asuramaru, kiseko and the other guy ion remember the name of are trying to get to the thing mika desires/loves (?) which is yuichiro so they could get his soul.
i don't think yuichiro is THAT naive either. he'll probably come back to his senses during battle and become the opposite of naive. mika's death probably affected him and this was the result.
