I hope my Jeffrey will be the ML cuz seriously since the beginning i've always been hoping it was him and he's got all it takes for a ML plus they've been friends for more than 100 years dammit xD , some ppl say Evan maybe it's Evan but honestly i just wanted her to save him and get along with the others.

Well I always felt ml vibes from Jeffrey and with his dialogue in the illusion "I never wanted a child" I confirm it more, that phrase is the typical one that ml or fl say for their pasts, as when they say "I'm not going to fall in love with you, don't fall in love with me, I don't want to have children , I will never love you", After seeing how calamity ruined many's lives in the past, I don't want him to have a happy ending and Evan doesn't like me because he's done bad things too, they deserve punishment, I've seen Koreans criticize the other characters and call them evil, Carsilion for wanting to kill Evan, eldow for wanting to get rid of him, Jeffrey for defending himself from eldow etc but when it is mentioned that calamity killed many innocent lives, they remain silent and their only dialogue is .... Well... Calamity is hot so it doesn't matter if he kills..."
Btw i meant to ask ' dialogue in the illusion', everyone been talking about it but i never seen this scene ? care to tell me what chapter ? it's been a while i last read this so maybe i forgot or missed it !
Tbh with i share your thought on the matter, Jeffrey only defended himself against the fairy and like he said it himself if he wanted her dead she wouldn't be sitting there, Carsilion wanting to kill Evan? well he's an emperor, and emperors have big responsibilities that come with big sacrifices, if anything he seemed to be the wiser of all her disciples. the Calamity i have no excuses whatsoever to give for him no matter his reason for killing innocents ( out of love or obsession) doesn't change the fact that he's evil! and Evan tbh i do have mixed feelings ... assuming they are the same person which seemed pretty much the case or that he's processed, anyway i think he's forgivable in the later case, that's why i said i wish charlotte saving her disciple, and that's pretty much all, no more. to me i don't care about his happiness like i said i just wish she saves her disciple, i just want to see Jeffrey finding happiness with Charlotte, dude literally waited for her for more than a century and always trying to protect her, she can always depend on him, everything about him is ML material. I remember telling myself once imma downvote this manhua is the ML isn't Jeffrey and i still stand my ground after 79 chapters xD
Well there's no Novel to say we can find spoilers, and the raws aren't much ahead, so no one knows for sure but it has romance tag so there's definitely a ml, who is it? i won't approve of anyone else IT HAS TO BE JEFFREY! no one else can fit it as much as him, i'll honestly be disappointed if not him.. i mean it really i may even drop this, am not here for the romance but a good story needs a coherent development.
