Basically almost all the parts have been shortened and the one at compromise is jinwoo's train of thought. Yes, ppl think he is cool because he either is badass or he look hot. But for me, it's because his decision making skill through battles is really good. Also you can see that the manhwa only has like the main scenes in the novel, which is why the plot isn't constructed fully. Like for example how japanese planned on sabotaging koreans (it was only stated they'll leave them in the fight,-manhwa) the thrill of the story when read in manhwa is all about just the fight scenes, but in the novel you'll be excited to anticipate what comes next just by reading jinwoo's and other characters' thoughts.
Also, dry saliva meme was never included in the manhwa so lol
Now that you mention it, I'd have to agree. I guess its mostly because its different when we are reading the novel. It's much more detailed in a sense that in the manhwa, it's more up to the ppl to interpret the vibes of the scene than having to explain every single thought of the characters hahaha.. If thats the case, I'll have to reread from the start since I started reading only from jinwoo fighting the system arc till the end. I have come to accept it. Jinwoo doesn't want anyone to suffer, which is why he did that -----(which destroys any conflict whatsoever). I just think that even though he is a beater that desires to get stronger and stronger, he started as a weak feeble hunter that only wants to keep his family alive.
