Taku was trying to win Heasoo love even Jowoon was manipulativ in the beginnig never forget that he told Heasoo that he can sleep with other guys but in the end he always will come to him and even hurt Heasoo. So dont blame Taku. Heaso feelings for Jowoon were more bigger, but the fact that he choose jowoon doesnt mean that taku was a bad person.

no taku was hell a lot more toxic and does not deserve better <3 he started shit with haesoo with the intention to drop him and fed off of his sadness and used his emotions for his exhibition

joowon was never like that. he loved haesoo from the start. however haesoo and joowon hurt each other EQUALLY because they felt they couldnt be together and had to downplay their feelings of love and act like it was "just sex". it was a game of push/pull between them. haesoo continuously tried to make joowon suffer because he thought he was the only one who was hurt, something joowon did not intentionally do, so dont give me that "haesoo is a victim" bs

that was the stupidest analogy because did i say that anywhere??? you just love putting words in my mouths. i said haesoo is NOT a victim so stop portraying him as such, and that most of joowon's mistakes are unintentional since he genuinely did not know how haesoo is feeling due to their lack of communication, and thought their undefined relationship was fine as haesoo kept coming back to him and as long as they won't be seperated. there's literally a line during his character growth where he says "If the person doesn't realize that anything is wrong, they'll have to take share of the blame".
so anyway, whats your reply to the fact that joowon STILL HAD THE MOST DEVELOPMENT, a bit more than Haesoo, and far more than Taku who stays a selfish prick and does absolutely nothing if it's not for his own gain like ??? lol

they haven't been step brothers for 10+ years.
they both took very long break from each other and focused on their own career and selves. they also sorted things with their parents to get over their past taboo. haesoo's mom accepted their relationship, and joowon pretty much cut off ties his dad. like why are taku stans obsessed with calling them step brothers when they arent???

yes. that's the complicated part of their initial relationship??? they knew everything was wrong back then, but they were 16 year old boys. it's not a huge shocker that they weren't able to see a random stranger with zero blood relation as their own sibling. they developed feelings for each other immediately, and haesoo even says to joowon that he wishes to stop the marriage before it even happens. because he was scared, already knowing that he liked joowon in the way he wasnt supposed to. the author presents a morally grey situation where you're supposed to question what truly makes someone "family" and realize that socially: they never had a familial/brotherly bond due to their age and feelings. that is just what a piece of paper dictated for them. and now they are free of that paper, and have dealt with their past (aka their parents) which they suffered A LOT due too. they deserve to be happy when there is nothing holding them back anymore.
