Well yeah but I mean its not like he didnt care at all about them, he always gave money (Even tho they were all used by ruhael or whatever her name is) and at that time it was pretty common for illegitimate children to be sent away somewhere else soooo idk its not totally the emperor's faust he didnt even know whatever was happening to them during those 5 years
You're missing my point I'm saying he COULD HAVE if he really cared but all he did was send money never even checked or sent someone to check and see if his children were even still alive so what if he sent her money?? Doesn't mean anything but now that he has them he cares? Makes no sense but at least he's trying now
So I read this spoiler a while back but apparently their abusive mom put like a curse or something on the royal family so they weren't allowed to see the kids. It also prevented them from harming her.

Did you not read it? The story told why he couldn't just kill her. She found out his weakness and figured out how to kill him and so she black mailed him for a tittle. She was hoping to get him to fall in love with her but of course he didn't and I'm glad he didn't. Not only that but she threatened to kill the kids if he didn't continuously pay her. He couldn't rescue the kids. And after a few years he thought she actually already had killed them because there was no evidence of them existing but that turned out to be wrong. So when that evil lady died he was finally able to get his kids "back"
I obviously read it. But I'm saying since you didn't read the second part why couldn't he get someone else to do it? Can you answer that? Her dying didn't trigger a curse and if he couldn't do it his self what stops someone else from doing it instead? All he ever did was assume
Several other people explained why he couldn't. And the night before that women died, he did IN FACT send someone over. That was when he found out they were being abused.
I think it was only if she didn't die of natural causes and was killed or poisoned that something bad would happen to him.
No they explained why he couldn't kill her personally or why anybody of the royal family couldn't kill her because of the curse and so? that was the night before what about the year's previously
Thank you I was thinking that could have been the reason but idk she was kind of dumb honestly always getting drunk and abusing the kids and blaming them x_x the story is still wonky honestly
Yeah there are definitely some things that dont totally make sense especially considering the princes never interfering yet now they adore them, but overall I like the story and look forward to more
Ya know.. there really wasn't a genuine reason why he couldn't go get them was there? Or why the other Prince's didn't go see them sooner? They just... Didn't. There's no way he genuinely thought they would be safe with her? She was clearly crazy off into the deep end type crazy and he's just going to leave his two baby twins with her and sends her money without ever even going and looking to see if they were okay? OR EVEN ALIVE!? ._. deadbeat
