I think the key part of the story is the character development. Yeon put Keith through hell to teach him a lesson and in this chapter we got to see that that has changed Keith. Keith who before didnt give a fuck about what he did during his rut decided to endure his rut alone on an island to avoid forcing himself in any way shape or form on Yeon. Keith knows Yeon won’t take his shit. The author is showing the characters growth and change not ignoring what happened. Yeon has seen the change as well hence why he’s letting keith in a bit. The rape was horrible and the story didn’t sugar coat it or make it seem okey which is good.
sure! i can clearly see hes becoming a better person but thats how consequences work. you learn from your mistakes, but rape? thats one thing in my book that cant ever be forgiven, no matter how good of a person you are now.
I’m the same! I honestly think Yeon is the same as well, it’s obvious he hasn’t completely forgiven Keith and I don’t think we’re meant to love Keith right now anyway. I just think completely saying the story is trash though is dismissing some really well done development and plot.
