shounen ai-v is romance relationship between men. NO SEX

Yaoi- is a relationship between men usually including sex.

doujinshi- is kinda a side story or a fanfiction in manga forum.

shounen ai doesn't have explicit sex scenes, it's hinted.
yaoi has sex scenes. depending if it's hard or soft yaoi, it will show more...
doujinshis, or djs are oringinal artists work (i think) i still don't understand them myself.

doujinshis are mangas that aren't sold by the publishers, but by the artist themselves.

they can be like fan-fiction or have their own original story.

Yaoi are graphic scenes of guy on guy action, either more of less explicit depending on whether it is hard-core yaoi or soft-core yaoi.

Shonen-ai is boys' love, depicting male romance but with little to no sex scenes, and if there is a scene, it shows nothing explicit or maybe it hints that they did do it. It is very mild and vanilla, with just holding hands and simple kissing or one or both characters expressing their love for each other.

Doujins, or more commonly known as DJs, are work, not always made yaoi/boyxboy, by the original mangaka and/or artist meant for fanservice or as another alternative ending. It doesn't necessarily has to be by the creator, though. Most fans will create DJs to fulfill their fantasies of either the work being gay, of a side story, a different outcome or the main protagonist/supporting characters ending up with someone else.

Does this kinda explain it? Sorry if it's confusing! >x<
