I think she was mad because he lied about his sexuality and also because he was gay and still tried to marry her which meant that he would never love her.
He is trying to marry her while being also continuing to be promiscuous and lie about his sexuality, she has the right to be angry. Not everyone is comfortable with being with people that sleep around.
