From what I've seen in other comments, there is romance in this one

I'm pretty far in the light novel and there is some romance but it's mainly focused on action and fights. There's a point in this arc where there will be romance but after that, there's not much romance

I really hope that this doesn’t become a romance of some sort. From what I’ve read so far its pretty much going in the direction of a harem type story because of all the female characters that gets really close to the main character (Also developing feelings for him).
I really hope it doesn’t become that way or else I’m gonna cry .

I just think there are too many action mangas and anime’s with romance. And I personally think that most of the time the romance kinda ruins the story by taking up most of the time or gets in the way of the real action that actually makes the story interesting.
