They were close! Mc even said that when the sunbae ask about their relationship. Also in chap 4, kangjoon said something about mc used to come running looking for him but now he just ignores him? I felt that man I had a friend ditched me for someone new and exciting cos I was prob too boring for her :')

I’m sorry about your friend ditching you, I have a friend that was super close with another girl but that other girl kinda ditched her later on to hang out with new ppl. It affected my friend pretty badly, so I kinda understand where you’re coming from.

Have you forgotten that blondie doesn’t even really wanna hang out with Kangjoon? Kangjoon is the one whose trying to make them spend more time together bc he doesn’t want blondie spending time with the vampire sunbae (MC spent 2 weeks going everywhere with Kangjoon and stuff, never meeting up with the sunbae). He’s literally preventing MC from hanging out with sunbae bc he’s jealous and wants MC to himself.
It would be a diff story if Kangjoon and MC were super close buddies that hung out all the time and only had platonic feelings for each other. MC ditching Kangjoon would’ve annoyed the helm out of me, bc you don’t ditch good friends for hot guys (chicks before dicks). But kangjoon is selfish here, basically trying to possess MC, so frankly I don’t give a fuck about wtv friendship they have, Kangjoon needs to back off and understand that MC just doesn’t want to hang out.
