I have just finished reading Ten Years I Loved You The most (about 1 hour ago) and there’s no specific reason being shown throughout the manhua, Seme basically just changed after they got wealthy.
Guess you can blame it on the classic story of people who become assholes to their loved ones once they get their hands on some money.

I am not entirely certain—but based on what I can remember from reading it—the seme was into hardcore coitus. Since the uke has a weak body, the seme couldn’t fully satisfy his sexual appetite when doing it with him. So to relieve his raging hormones, he resorted to a few flings until he got really addicted to this “side hobby” of his that he can’t help himself from drowning in this debauchery.
Remember his possessive behavior towards the uke? Based on what happened from someone I know IRL, people who cheat on their significant others (provided that they still love that person) tend to be suspicious towards them because they are projecting their issues on their partners. Hence, the cr@pbag of a seme was always jealous and suspicious of the uke and unfortunately, turned to violence to reassure himself that the uke is still “his”. He got so frustrated and rejected when the uke turned him down that he couldn’t control his anger and end up assaulting the uke.
Take this explanation with a grain of salt as some of these theories are based on conjecture and a few life experiences.

The Manhua that made my heart go numb from angst is Ten Years I Loved You The Most.
This one added more numbness, I was surprised I didn’t cry like last time. I have a question, don’t read my question if you haven’t read Ten Years I loved you the most:
I don’t think I ever found out why but why did the cheating seme in Ten Years I Loved You The Most CHEAT? Why did he cheat on with someone who looked like MC? I must’ve forgotten but someone who know tell me. Thank you.
