Yeah, I couldn't understand on why second groom would let his real identity bomb like that. I wished there were hints of it. Maybe she didn't know him since she was a little kid, it would be okay.
I agree. The problem is that the plot had nice possibilities. I'm wondering if the original novel was better, as this might have been rather rushed. I'll have to see if I can find it.
I do disagree with the FL being likened to a cat. A dog often comes back after abuse, but most cats can't be totally tamed and would give the big Sayonara!
For me the story was sad, I pity the girl, it's hard to say love? maybe love from her, but love from him? I deeply doubt it, he could have said all the true before sleeping with her, but he didn't and continue the lie and deceive till the end, the first groom was awful and the second is not better either, fooling her till the end, what annoying me is the crap happy ending, I hate that, and the end all women' harlequin do what they men want, another weak woman tamed, like a crap little cat, and they call LOVE? is horrible and hate the ending.
