Yeah I did forget about his past but what he is doing in the present made me forget about his past.

Imagine u r his house help and he treats u the same way he treats Adam would u then care about Lan?, and then he used you as a mean to suppress his sexual frustration. He beats u everyday saying u r not human u mean nothing and then the next day he comes crying repeating that it's not his fault that he went through some trauma in the past and ends up beating u again. I'm implying that the pain you went through is not the pain u should give others because u felt u were wronged in the past, this is toxic, yes we can feel bad for him but let's not encourage his toxic behavior...
