ofcourse his mom was never a reason...what about his own conscience. We all now that not only later from the very beginning it was not hatred but his obsession for the uke. Best part he himself knew that he is not even homophobic

Everyone can blame it on the mom that she’s the reason the bastard “friend” is homophobic but he also has a choice in that. I have a dad who is homophobic but I knew from middle school what my beliefs were and even if my mom cheated on my dad with another women I would never hate gay people or my own mother. So I think he’s just as much at fault for being homophobic and his mom is. This is just my opinion
