She’s giving her more attention because she doesn’t know things that her daughters already learned. We can see how clumsy and uneducated she is
She’s giving Ashley attention because she needs to learn she was barely ever taught so u can’t rly say it’s because she’s the mc she’s not favoring her she’s trying to teach her things she didn’t get to learn as a child and it’s rly rly rly fucking hard raising 3 children ya know try being in mildred’s position
We all dont know what it feels like to have three daughters but lets be honest here, shes kinda giving ashley a bit more attention than her daughters because shes the mc and because of it mildred wants what happens in the original story and let ashley have her happy ending as well as herself and her daughter to live a happy life after ashley gets together with the cp. But thats definitely not gonna happen since she kinda twisted the story line.
