So is Nobara really dead dead ?
Gege killed off Nanami too. And Nanami was a very important person toYuuji. So I don't think of Nobara's injury/death that unfitting. Gege also said he wrote Nobara's story from different perspectives so that her character shines through. And I think that's a better character writing.
Another thing, important character's death wasn't that unexpected from jujutsu kaisen's story. We can't be sure about whether Yuuji will die at the end or not. Death is "normal" here. Believe me, Nobara is one of my favourite characters in the entire series. I loved her from the start. Not only her, I loved almost every female character in this series, specially Maki. It's true that I also want her to be alive and be with the other two (Yuuji and Megumi) in future. But you can never predict what will happen ╮(￣▽￣)╭ I'm also scared about Megumi's future.....let's see what happens...

he basically said that he isnt sure. Its up to him, it can go 50/50. He basically says he knows the ending of the main 2 and gojo but not her.
yeah I get that people can die in jujutsu tech but nanami death made more sense because he is character really had nothing going for him (plus he is a side character) and that can motivate yuji to do better. Nobara's made no sense if she dies. We still dont know nothing of her character besides her friends fumi/saori but thats not her backstory or connect to her being a jujutsu sorcer. Her death would make sense if she had more screen time and we got more depth of her. Chapter 125 really wasnt her backstory it was more of fumi pov and shows nobaras character that we already knew along with her traits. I'm just upset that he would discard her to focus on the MALE charcters
Just read gege interview and if the story is 60-70% done and he used Nobara death to break yuji than that honestly annoys me because he isn’t treating her like her own individual. The lack of development from her or any female characters compared to the males is dummmmmb. He didn’t even tell us if she is gonna stay alive or not but I’m pretty sure that she ain’t getting her own arc sooooo what was the point of creating a strong female lead if you going to do her dirty ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
