So far..... check yes to all of those. Honestly, this seems worse then most because as far as I can tell there is no good reason! I mean, if it were for protection of his daughter so that people would not see her as his weakness and use her against him, endangering her life, then I would get it. And that is how it seemed, but then when she isn't around he doesn't even try to hide the fact that she is his favorite thing in the world. Seriously. When his student was asked what he normally talks with the Duke about all his flash backs what of the duke fawning over his daughter, rose petals and all.. So I'm confused as to why he's cold towards her in the first place.
I think the reason he pushes FL away is because he doesn’t want the FL to get attached to him cause if people found out they were close, then the king would have the upper hand. Honestly I’m just actually really biased cause I love this manhwa T_____T

I think he’s just bad at showing emotions/affection but actually likes her. Like he’s trying in her new life bc she’s showing interest in him this time (instead of just following mikhail)

I've dropped a lot of father-daughter isekai's because all the fathers seem to fit the same mold. I've only read the first few chapters, but please tell me, is it the kind of story where the father is an asshole, but has actually cared for her the whole time but couldn't show it 'cuz reasons? Does he suddenly make a 180? Does the main character have to work for his love? <-- if any of these apply, I'm trashing it.
