I wonder what's wrong with Korean Author, why they are so obsessed with toxic romance, they all have the same magic ingredient for the ML 'a rich Duke/Prince/CEO with handsome face, hot abs and big dick + childhood trauma + thrash personality', no matter how they abused/raped/cheated the MC, all is forgiven after he is crying his hearts out for one night about oh how tragic their past is and give their coat/shawl whatever and baked some cookies something. When I watch American series, those with toxic relationship always end up beaten and bruised or dead, that's the reality, love doesn't change toxic people.
