All we seem to be getting is objectively terrible, over the top, overbearing CEO smut lately where the girls are little better than sex dolls.
The harlequin romance mangas are a little better in that department, but there's still a lot of "let's be coerced into marriage with some rich guy cause we slept together once upon a blue moon and my lady parts tingle whenever I see him, even though he's a complete jackass."

My god I have read so many novels like that, I mean I don't get why they are so attracted to them you know the tingling stuff, it's tiring and it always ends with a toxic relationship
