    Im not sure... But in the novel there's hint that Ray only wants Yurina to pay attention to him... Like the typical boy who falls in love you know... And that he wants to protect Yurina. Unfortunately it was only translated up to chapter 27 so Im not sure if he will grow up to be a yandere
