It happens to me too just look at the update section so you could also browse new mangas
but there are manga that i'm already reading that i want to stay up to date on. sucks that the system is a bit wacky :(
It never happened to me so I don't know much about it but u may get notification update around 4 pm in Asia I get notification at this time ...sometime later to 5 pm
my notification show up around 18:35 p.m.

Then I guess it depends on time when I created the account I made my account around 4 :00 pm so I thought I get notification around this time I have no idea may be it's different for other people
hey, i have a question about mangago's alert system for manga updates. i've been noticing that when some manga update, I don't get an alert that they do. is there a reason behind that?? like, is there a limit to how many manga an alert can handle?
