If you were in need of money irl and you have that opportunity just by selling something in game, you too would understand. Most mcs need money in order to support themselves irl. You don't simply just earn money while playing the game at these early developments where you are not a professional player, or when you don't have a sponsor. They also can't just play the game without thinking of their finance because he isn't as privllidge as others are. He has hospital bills he has to pay. Also, the lunchbox wouldn't even greatly affect him at his level, as his cousin said. The best option would be selling it to higher leveled players for money, or do the quest which has a 99% fail rate. He's the mc of course he'd complete it, but he doesn't know that.
Another thing, there are manwhas/huas/gas like that. Maybe next time spend more time looking for it?

i hate it so much when mcs are always desperate for money and thinks of selling important things. i hope there will be more stories where the mc is actually just enjoying the game and not caring about money since this type of cliche is getting annoying even tho most of the time they end up not selling it anyways.
