Because like I said, taking a bath was only a pretense to go out and meet Na-Kyum and his sister. He took the scarf with him as an apology and a sign that some level of trust has been restored.
However Seungho never had any intention of letting Na-Kyum go. If he was open to the idea he wouldn't have forced him to say goodbye from the inside of the property where he can monitor his every move. More importantly,he wouldn't have threatened to murder his sister if she ever came back to visit. He's adamant on isolating Na-Kyum from anyone that could open up his eyes to the reality of his captivity. Which is why he hates the sister.
Na-Kyum is still his obsession and his plaything.
I dont doubt that seungho is still possessive over nakyum but what im saying is up until that point he saw nakyum and the noona again he WAS ready to let him go. Now that nakyum has declared and chose to stay with him, seungho of course would not let him go now. I dont think seungho needs any pretense at all to see nakyum itS his house after all and i believe the author showed the scene of the servant carrying the clothes, his messed up room, him not touching his food, smoking and drinking to highlight that he was tormenting with the idea of letting nakyum go. Saw the raws, now with english translations a few things makes more sense. A lot of people saying nothing much happened in this chapter, i would disagree a LOT happened if u really pay attention to the panels (i feel like BD finally came back on track after the break with her usual style which made me fall in love with potn). With seungho putting on the scarf around nakyum and telling him that he believed nakyum wasnt going to follow his noona...and with nakyum declaring that hes not leaving and is just saying goodbye to his noona is really a turning point in this relationship. It’s them silently declaring their trust in each other and is more significant coming from nakyum considering all the shit he went through because of seungho. And seungho knows this hence why he couldnt even eat, his room was a mess, all he did was drink and smoke to prepare him for the moment in which he was going to let nakyum go (the evidence being him coming out with the other servant with extra clothes for nakyum. Another reader mentioned that he took of his headband meaning he was adamant to let nakyum go and not follow him. I may be wrong but lords shouldnt leave their house without their headband right). His face when he heard the doors opening and nakyum and noona coming out killed me hes like fuck is it really time do i really have to do this. i just pray that BD doesnt do a 180 all of a sudden where we go back to square one.
