not very sure on this so take this with a pinch of salt. Ao Yue should be the name of the second prince of the eastern sea which would be Ao Gu's brother (before aoao). But Ao Yue was forced to leave the eastern sea because he was possessed(?) or had a demonic power in him(?). After leaving, Ao Yue took on the name Xuan Yue to not raise suspicion and so people cant find him easily. (Again not sure about this)

Yes it was Ao yue, the name of Aoao after he was just born, as the 2nd prince and then got infused with demon king black pearl. Someone good took Ao yue out of the palace and let him live his life in secrecy. Not even Ao yue know that he was a dragon prince. He live with the name Xuan yue. and then after that tragedy to Xiao jifeng x Xuan yue (real name Ao yue) , Ao yue was reincarnated with no memories or ability to bond/love as AoAo once again (as per ao gu's request because of what happened to Xuan yue and Xiao Jifeng),, And thats the Current timeline.

So its like Ao yue (infused with demon king pearl) live as Xuan yue and met Xiao Jifeng (reincarnation of demon king) in which both were clueless but they fell inlove with each other. Tragedy happened but still not explained clearly (current ongoing manhua explanation updates we have) in which Xuan yue dies and then Ao gu comes forth and kill Xiao Jifeng because his brother Ao yue (living as Xuan Yue) is dead. After reincarnation of both the dead lovers, fate have them meet again almost immediately as they met when they were kids . Xiao Jifeng living as blackball / a black dragon, (thats why Ryan was half dragon, and half demon coming from his soul xiao jifeng) and Aoao freshly reincarnated living in mortal realm. and as aogu said, its been almost thousand years since then and the two still kept intact somehow.

So after that thousand years, Ryan finally met Aoao again in the current start of manhwa.

so whats happening is

Xiao Jifeng is demon king reincarnation, he got defeated and his pearl (power) is taken away. Ao Yue as a baby is the one they used to store the demon king's pearl. They both met without knowing. And they fell inlove. Reincarnated Xiao Jifeng lives as blackball, a western dragon and once again, fell in love to Aoao (Xuan yue, real name Ao yue was inlove with Xiao Jifeng). Aoao is currently falling inlove to ryan as so we witnessed. from latest updates we can read.
