Glasses fetish

I could never understand anyone's like for glasses.
1) They leave marks on the face (nose and cheek).
2) They hurt the ears.
3) Can't see shit without.
4) No contact sport what so ever.
5) No water sport either.
6) Contacts are annoying (wore them for 10 years).
7) Not everyone with glasses is intelligent.

I wore glasses for 16 years. Since I was 10 years old until 26. Had laser surgery last year.

Yeah my little glasses rant >.<

    They make sport glasses.

I wear glasses to drive since my prescription causes depth perception issues. The rest of the time I don't even if I get a few more bruises because of the depth perception issue. I don't get lasik because because when ever I go to an eye doctor, they are a bit in awe of my prescription and say I shouldn't. Since I have an eye that sees near and one that sees far, as I age, my eyes will probably always work well for me. Go figure.

And I can't seem to get used to contacts. My eyes spit them out.

I did Karate when I was younger but I didn't need sports glasses since I could fight without them. However, I had laser surgery before I started scuba diving last year. I have forgotten how it feels to wake up in the morning and the first thing I see is everything.

I had to wear sunglasses after starting to wear contacts since my eyes were sensitive to the sun. Having blue eyes did not help either. Ironically, I still wear my sunglasses even after the surgery. However, I can see without them. Laser surgery Rocks !! (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

Ironically, contact lenses damages the surface of the eye. My eyes started to reject them after 10 years of wear. Contacts suck. They irritate the eyes. alot.

I have dark brown eyes, so light colors (neonish) like yellow highlighters hurt my eyes. I don't wear contacts or regular prescription glasses or reading glasses though. But polarized sunglasses are the best cause the are tinted just right.

I have worn many kinds of glasses through out the years and contacts. I had LASIK surgery. Took 5 minutes per eye. My mother had to look after me since both eyes were taped shut for a day. The eye drops were a pain. One drop every hour for a week then one every 4 hours for a week and so on. But it is awesome to be able to see.

I've worn glasses since 4th grade and when I was older I wore contacts on and off throughout the years... Anyway I started wearing wire rimmed glasses and started getting weird rashes on the sides of my head, turns out I'm allergic to all metals besides gold and dude, who can afford much less want to wear gold rimmed glasses? Anyway long story short I still wear glasses but now they are plastic black framed glasses. Oh I was allergic to the contact cleaner too but that's a different story.... ... point is: glasses are a necessary evil for some people.....
