It prob had to do with his scary face. He prob thought she was scared of him, so as the loving father he is, he escaped her presence so that she won't be scared anymore. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

Or was it emperor , he is the evil one because he killed the FL’s mother because if the father betrays the king or smtg the king will kill his precious people. the emperor has control over the dad way before juvel was born. the emperor has a magic ring that controlled the dad. in the 1st time, when juvel died, the dad went ballistic and killed everyone including the evil emperor, then he made a wish that turned back time. the reason he was avoiding juvel when she was a kid because something happened that made juvel scared of him, but she forgot it because dad wished for her to forget it thru magic and he thought he does not deserved to be called daddy by her. it was sad actually. his backstory has more twist and plot. ┗( T﹏T )┛

I kinda wanna know what happened after she died in the novel tho,,, like her dad prolly gave her the sword to protect herself with and the prince was like "oh so its you" because he recognized her as the weakness of the duke but man I REALLY WANNA KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AFTER HER SUICIDE THO (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
that aside Im also rly curious about why he treated her that way as a child.
