This was adorable, but the "secretly gay" thing irked me a bit. I swear, does nobody in yaoi understand that bisexuality exists?? Like, I know you can find out later in life that you're gay or that you at least have feeling for men, but that doesn't make those feelings you had about girls any less real! I know I shouldn't expect much from smutty gay manga because that's not the point, but it would be nice if any manga were to get that detail right.
Honestly I'm pansexual anyway, so none of that gender stuff bothers me, although I prefer men. I think people's personalities matter more than their bodies and the technical bits. People are people-- and people are hot! (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
Most yaois take place where same sex relationships are frowned upon so most of them don't know all the titles. I'm sure the authors know that the other orientations exist but the characters not so much since they aren't taught about something that's so frowned upon.
