I agree. I think he was putting up an act for the guards. Her being imprisoned would have given her father the push to work with the crown prince in overthrowing the current king. When he gave her the dagger and told her to endure. He wanted her to wait until he could get her and have something to protect herself. That prison only the royal family could visit but no one else so she would be safe for the time being.

I want to see what happened after she died tho, mainly because I enjoy seeing "emotionless" characters suffering and I'm curious how the father reacts to how not paying attention and talking to her daughter led her to think she was abandoned and commit suicide.
I want to see what happened to. I think it would be interesting to know how things played out after she committed suicide. Especially to see the Father's reaction to how he failed to protect his daughter and communicate his love to her properly so she understands.
The crown prince was trying to save her and not torture her but she instead killed herself bc of miscommunication?(I'm guessing since the father and the prince are on good terms)
