I mean that's why she's saying she'll leave soon since if he's looking for another wife he doesn't need her to bear his child.
She has 100+ years of memories from a very cruel, harsh, and sacrificial life which included killing the man she loved and becoming emperor.
Now she is reincarnated and all she wants is to see those she love thrive (when previously she killed or watch get killed). She suspects the Duke may be her past Love/prince/King reincarnation because he looks like him or because he shares her Late love's bloodline...
She is a seasoned warrior of sacrifice and so giving up a child wouldn't seem like much to sacrifice compared to her previous life. Or at least that's how I imagine her train of thought is like.

I was confused cuz of the way she said it I didn’t know if she meant like she’ll give birth then leave or leave once he finds another wife to give birth to cuz then otherwise why is she still there other than giving birth if he could just find another lady (?)
Well she does have a contract of giving him a child. Regardless of if he is looking for a new wife. The 'Duke' already fulfilled his end of the contract by covering her parents debts. So she either pays him back the money, or give him a child.
Unless he ends the contract and says she doesn't have to repay him. It makes sense why she thinks she still needs to give him a child even if he is back to human and can marry properly.

Honestly her way of thinking is kind of fucked upshe’ll birth him their child and then just leave so he can get married to someone else?? How will she know if she won’t have attachments to the child? It’s a little unrealistic her way of thinking but if she does do that than she’s a lot more damaged than I thought...still love her tho
