Aight aight,

Here's the thing,
YES THEY WERE RAISED AS SIBLINGS BUT
THAT DOESN'T MEAN THEY HAVE TO ACTUALLY BE SIBLINGS.
And no matter what y'all do,
Y'all aren't the author,
Black hair is and will always be the male lead.
No matter what.

Totally! I won't write hate or anything if it pushes that trope. people saying it's like childhood friends to lovers,,, diet thinks that's his blood sister but it could be a situation where it gets revealed he knows she's not and doesn't treat her like a blood relative then I am onboard completely cause yeah it's childhood friends to lovers at that point. The story does avoid the grossest trope when the daughter gets chosen cause she looks like the dead one and,, they still fall in love. when i said raised as siblings i meant siblings only so if he thought that was his genuine sister since the beginning but once again just my opinion. everyone is free to have their own opinions and i can't judge because we all know they are not related, so ship who you want together

Right! Like I'm fine with them being a couple in the future (tho tbh I would have loved for this to be a found family siblings kinda story, I think a lot of people were wishing for that too) The only reason I'd personally have a problem with him being ml is if he grew up thinking she was his blood sister, but it does look pretty likely that he knows she isn't. But since we the audience know that they aren't blood siblings and that they aren't going to see each other as adoptive siblings, then there's really nothing wrong with shipping them.

And yea that dead sister lookalike trope did always rub me the wrong way.
