Well in a way i understand ur point but, these two have similar scenes, ofc not in the details ,then it would be plagiat or copy. In my opinion it is the same kind and i understand people saying 'it is like Killing Stalking' (tho for now i like 'Chess Piece' better than 'Killing Stalking' the uke is more player then yoonbum and the uke is less a psychopath than sangwoo.. ) haha. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

The art style is similar u think that why everyone keeps comparing them. But it is a different story with different values. I think they are gonna try to make this a toxic but good heart type shit(not that I don’t like that). Killing stalking was just crazy, toxic, and disturbing lol. I think people should stop comparing them because they are different stories, if the art was different I don’t think it would get this many people comparing it to killing stalking and getting disappointed on their own.

Mmh yes its true i haven't really considered the art style.. i think you are right it shouldn't get compared to killing stalking but i still think that some scenes are similar especially the fight between the two kidnapped, in killing stalking it was yoonbum and the random dude, here in chess piece its jeoh and ma jeong-suk . In both the kidnapper (sangwoo/do seong-rok) make them fight but end up helping the future uke. Once again not in the exact same details. And it is only one scene but yeah i think the author was in that kind of vibe. But i am glade cuz i always thought killing stalking had a great concept, it was just too much for me the toxicity and yoonbum kind of disgusted me but in chess piece the uke is cool .. i mean he is a psycho that let his fishes die and all but he is more confident and even if he has a similar chara design than yoonbum they're so different .. anyway that was off topic i apologize.
How can this be like Killing Stalking...it misses the horror, the psychological heavy part and plus those two aren't even crazy. Meh. IDK why everyone is saying they're so similar...
