for context !! ok so after yeni hears what soleia was telling erudian, she's troubled because she knows that for her sake, he will go through with soleia's plan so she feels like she couldn't prevent that no matter what. raulus and her talk and he suggests that she stays at the temple now, yeni agrees to his suggestion. later that night, yeni hasn't been able to sleep since the nightmare incident so she goes out to the balcony to get some fresh air, there she hears a voice behind her that calls her and she screams in surprise. it's erudian who was on the balcony next to her's drinking. so they ask each other why they're not sleeping and both said they just couldn't. so erudian jumps over to her balcony and asks her "why are you not well today" (now chapter 52!!) so she explains that her head hurts because she hasn't slept and he grabs her cheek. she said it was fine since she slept during the the day. so he asks whats bothering her, but she couldn't look at him because of the conversation with soleia. so to avoid the question, she asks him if it was fine if she stays at the temple for a few days. erudian is surprised by this and yeni further emphasizes that she's going back to lebovni anyways and how he promised that once the king of lebovni opens the road, he will let her go. yeni reaches out to his cheek since he isn't responding and asks whats wrong. he grabs her hand before it could reach his cheek and asks how long has she been in belgot, she says about two and a half months and erudian replies how time flies. she agrees and says "ill be back as soon as possible if you allow me" to which erudian responds with "what if i dont". yeni is surprised by this as he intertwines his hands with hers. she asks whats wrong with him as she's bewildered by the question. erudian seems to realize what he said and says it was a slip of tongue to which yeni grabs his hands and asks if she should just not go back and to call her by her name. he warns her that she shouldn't come any closer to him like he mentioned previously and yeni tells him to stop avoiding her and to make it clear to her that he doesn't like her, then she will go back like he wants. erudian then pulls her into a hug and says that she shouldn't say that because he cant push her away any further, he explains further saying "if you ask me "shouldn't i go" then i have no choice but to say dont go" and that he doesn't like that she's leaving. but ultimately he says that she has to go back and that its just his greed keeping her there. yeni starts to tear up and thinks to herself how she doesn't wanna leave either, but the conversation with soleia makes her think that its impossible. she starts crying and buries her face in his chest and she says he should've said that from the beginning. he calls her by her name again and yeni thinks how whatever name that she's called by (referring to her past life) that there is only one person that calls her name with affection (erudian ) and she feels like she belongs there.
